During my recent stay, I enjoyed the afternoon tea and cookies upon arrival. The selection of teas was nice, and they even had gluten-free cracker options. My room was clean and comfortable, which I appreciated. However, I did suffer a bit with allergies due to mustiness. Overall, the experience was pleasant despite that.

Nestled in a scenic location, the charming inn offered a lovely outdoor terrace overlooking a serene meadow, perfect for relaxation. Coffee and snacks were always available, enhancing the stay. Unfortunately, the initial room had an unpleasant odor, and although I was moved to a better room, the two-night minimum rule forced an unwelcome return to the original room. The lack of accommodation for this inconvenience was disappointing, detracting from an otherwise pleasant experience.

excellent breakfast

my stay at fairville inn was delightful! the property was immaculate and very well maintained. i especially enjoyed the excellent breakfast, with options that included fresh fruit and scrambled eggs. the cozy common areas made for a great place to relax. it's a perfect spot for family reunions or weddings, as there's so much space to enjoy together.

The room was super comfy with a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. Loved the spacious deck overlooking the gardens. Breakfast was top-notch with fresh scrambled eggs and toast plus afternoon teas with pastries. Great outdoor seating areas. Location was perfect for visiting Longwood Gardens and Winterthur. Ozzie, the resident dog, was a sweet bonus.

Great stay with some hiccups

We had a decent stay, but the room smelled kinda musty, which was a bummer. We switched rooms but were stuck with the musty one for our second night. Overall, the staff was friendly, and the picnic area was nice for breakfast, even though we had to leave early due to the room issue.
